The highest railway bridge in the world is being constructed in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The bridge is being built across the River Chenab.
Once it is completed, the bridge will be 359 metres tall (to understand how tall that is, keep in mind that an adult human being is usually less than 2 metres tall). That will make the bridge five times as tall as the Qutab Minar in Delhi and even taller than the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
The bridge is part of the railway line that is being built to connect Srinagar and Jammu.
The highest railway bridge in the world right now is the 340 metre tall bridge across the River Tarn in France, but once completed, the Chenab bridge will beat this height. Just look at the picture above and imagine a bridge taller than that!
